I have seen a friend do some very good long range shooting with the Lee Shaver .22 insert. But he did find it a bit fidgety
at maintaining headspace of the cartridge holding "auxiliary chamber" and therefore maintaining good ignition.
The Crossno style insert, used by another person seemed to be
more reliable and also shot well

had mine a few years now , as accurate as you would expect a 22  target rifle to be. I can get in the 30s in club matches and I'm not great .Also like the auxiliary chamber as the brass stays with it and doesn't fall down in the action when you "flick" brass out like other liners. Have friends with both , both seem remarkably accurate , more of a personal preference I guess .

This exact question was covered in the covered in an extensive article in the Single Shot Journal, the official magazine of the ASSRA in the April-March issue this year. If you are not dues paying supporting members of the ASSRA that is too bad. You would be much better informed on single shot rifle issues and you would be doing your part to support the ASSRA. Too bad you missed the article as it would have answered many of your questions in detail.

Glad to hear that, the 2021 AP-MR issue of the Journal had the Remington Rolling Block on the cover and the main part of the article was about using the Lee Shaver .22 insert. I think it will answer most of your questions.
