Yes and there is a fellow on ebay who sells the .0002 Tungsten wire and you could probably do it yourself. Unscrew the eyepiece and the crosshairs are right there on the inner tube. Remove the two screws holding it in place on the outside of the tube and it will slide right. You can either re-solder, super glue or epoxy the new ones into the same place as the existing. The wire is a two foot piece so there is more than enough to do more than just. Or to take care of any possible mistakes and it is also hard to see. There are a few videos showing the crosshairs being replaced on a traditional scope that you could also take a look at prior to doing the work. .

I've done it myself  a couple times. An old timer showed me a trick. I did one side then let it set. Then I did the other side using a lead fishing sinker to maintain tension.

It is actually easy having done it myself with the exception of being able to see the wire if not having a real good back ground to look at the wire with. Not sure what these are called but I clamp one to each end of the wire to both provide wire tension by letting them hang and to also know where the wire is at.

Trace Scope Repairs replaced the crosshairs in both my Lyman STS and my Unertl scopes.
In addition to installing a fine crosshair they cleaned the lens as well.

I have replaced the crosshair in my Lyman but find it very difficult to see and handle the fine cross hairs.
Professional scope repairs put in a finer crosshair with better tension than I could muster.
