Seems like the 1 1/2 didn't have them. My memory is faulty at times though.

What would be the hole spacing for a number 1 action?

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

All Rolling Block sporting rifles use the std. 1.937" spacing. Distance from center of stock screw to rear hole is @.6" centers. Holes are either 10-32, or 3/16-36 size. Could be either based on the era.

Not all #1 nor all #1 1/2 had tang sight holes as standard, but both could have them if the customer requested it.
