Not SS rifles, but a Lefever shotgun at an attractive price.   We made the deal, and as I was gathering up the gun, the fellow said, "Oh, there's an extra set of barrels for it!".
Then a Kynoch revolver in .476 cal at a yard sale for $75,  which a British dealer appraised some years ago at "2500 Pounds".
