	I've seen such Pieper volley guns before but always using a standard rolling block action. I wonder what this under-lever version has to recommend it? Bill Lawrence

	Not a single shot. My one ton flatbed is four wheel drive but it's not a four wheel drive. I know that will confuse some of you.

	Its a taxidermist gun used for small birds and animals. They used .22 shotshells rather than bullets to collect specimens for museums and naturalist displays.

	I almost bought one of those at the Albany, N.Y. gunshow about 25 years ago. A dealer named Charlie Kaplan had one for about $1200.00 and I thought long and hard before passing on it. Charlie always had interesting stuff.
