Sharps Borchardt tang sight screw size

What screw size is used to install a tang sight on a Borchardt sporting rifle?  I believe it is a No 8 screw but am not sure if it is a 8x32, 8x36, or 8x40.

I read that the 1874 Sharps used a 10x28 screw.  Does the 1878 Borchardt use the same screw?
