anyone have advice on breaking down 22rimfire short and reloading at less pressure for a vintage pistol   thanks   art

Not sure if it's possible without damaging the bullet, the crimp will likely strip lead off the heel with an inertia pull and anything gripping the bullet will crush it.

What are you trying to download to? most standard or CB shorts are pretty low to start with.
