No. 2 Rolling Block Front Sight

I am restoring a No. 2 rolling block and need a proper front sight. The one on the rifle has a Indian Head penny as a blade! Maybe I just need to replace the blade.

Rolling block parts has the #2 front sight. I got one last year. It was very nice.

Though oneatatime seems to have his tongue slightly in cheek, he makes a good point.  Indian head pennies were minted from 1859 until 1909, so it's easily possible that Bull Schmitt's rifle's front sight is in fact a period modification/repair.  For some, that would be a good enough reason to leave it alone.

Off topic, but I would like to see a picture of the sight.  I've seen revolvers with coin sights that were quite well done.
Perhaps not original, but cool none the less.
