Absolutely.  A cylinder reamer does not need to have a leade ground into it, just a straight throat.

Get a barrel reamer.

The rifle reamer will have the taper throat and a smaller pilot for bore diameter. A cylinder reamer will have a pilot that is bullet diameter ( that is if the cylinder is bored to that size). I usually order a rifle reamer with replaceable pilots so I can use it for cylinders also.

Make sure they actually have it in stock!!!   I bit on one of those Pacific "sale specials" a few years ago now, and it took 4 months for them to actually deliver it!!!

Ok when I look at Pacific's catalog, they do not differentiate between ccyl and barrel in the catalog. Why I wondered. mh

Try Manson both the quality and being ground to spec. has been quite abit better. PT&G went through some expansion pains and one did not always get what he ordered. But hopefully they might be over it now?

Double-dittos for Dave Manson.  Never any problem with Dave, and he answers emails himself.  He'll make whatever you ask for, sometimes no extra charge, as he did for some years ago when I I wanted a modified .357 Max reamer.

BTW does that drawing make it appear that it cuts no throat or leade at all?
