Would a Unertl 14x scope with serial # 7xx get a better $ because it's older ?

No logic to Unertl prices. If somebody follows internet sniper forums they may pay anything.

There is some logic but it very rough and mostly depending on magnification and of course condition.  There may be some Unertl collectors that may be willing to pay a premium for a real old one in good condition.  As far as I can tell the best approach is to list it on eBay with a detailed description of the model, magnification, features and condition and let the highest bidder win.

I own a first year Unertl scope, and if it's any example of pricing I paid nothing more than average, or even lower than average price for it. It's not a 14x, as I don't believe Unertl offered that magnification at first.
Had it on my Cody Ballard for awhile until I switched to a 20x Lyman. I gave $450 for it about 6 years ago, and it had been cleaned, serviced and new crosshairs installed.

I own a Unertl 10X 1 1/2" target scope, SN 172. It is not nearly as nice as the later scopes due to the very early style adjustable objective. Very functional and still clear, but I suspect not as valuable as a later built scope.
