Who can do ? ..weld lever

I'd like a small spur welded on my Borchardt Bench Rifle to make it easier to open action...something like this pic or a small 1.5" loop. Since I have two levers I can modify one of them.Anyone with the fine touch that can help me appreciated. thankyou Pete
A pic of A spur that would work and one of my BR gun, working on a bag rider stock right now...The loop lever would work nicely, middle finger could be inside while firing...

I've heard mention of Restorative Welding.

Haven't used him as I have a young guy I use locally for my guns and car parts. But he's supposed to be very good.

Good question.  Not to pirate your thread but I have a Stevens 044 1/2 lever I'd like lengthen for a set of double set triggers.  So I too would like to know.

I have a #2 rolling block with cracked frame going to Restorative welding sometime in the next couple months. This will be the first time using him but I talked to Peter for an hour on the the phone about it and he was very helpful.

Based on work done for me, Peter Nagel of Restorative Welding is indeed very, very good.  Also, his prices are very fair and his turn-around time is usually very quick.

Bobw...  I can give a hearty recommendation on Restorative Welding.  He repaired a cracked #2 frame for me too.  He also closed some holes drilled in a #1 on top of the receiver ring (probably for a sight mount) and did fantastic work on both.
