Used forends come-up fairly frequently so I'll keep my eyes open. No rush on this project.
  

If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.

I agree with John that a separate forearm would be much better. Even if you spanned the two screws, the plate made to attach it this way would eventually wear on your forearm wood and eave marks you'd regret. Might as well have another and keep your original looking great.

Some like the muzzle to be heavy and myself I like it to be very well balanced right at the palm rest. Even using double sided tape to find the best spot in actual trial and use would not be good thing to try do on an original stock finish.
