I don't believe that the assembled barrel would be too light. If it is light I could adjust the weight with the weight of the tensioning nut at the muzzle. I could vary the material (aluminum, brass, steel) and the length of the nut.
  
If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.
