It looks like Pete just made a copy of the old Ideal #6, with the #5 Micrometer style adjustment added in for good measure (pun intended.)  I never even heard of this one, but would jump at the chance to own one.  My buddy Dale53 was also a friend of Pete Allan... I can’t believe he missed out on this measure.  Huh
