I have emails from some of our journal readers said that they would like to see a larger copy of the photo collage I wrote about. What is interesting is that l of the club members are photographed holding the exact same rifle.

Having read the article in the Journal about your photo montage, I think you made a wise choice in your conservation of the piece. Nice work.
If by chance you have high resolution scans of the individual photos, I could work a bit of PhotoShop magic on them. Some of them look they could be brought back to near new appearance, while others could still be improved some. I'm not suggesting your replace the original montage images but a new montage could easily be made.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

That frame is an outstanding testimony to the jig/scroll sawing craze that swept nationwide back then.  And despite the considerable damage, I'd be tempted to restore only the missing "R".  Finally, I wonder if the man with the powder flask is the shared rifle's real owner?
