	Makes one wonder how much game was killed with that rifle to feed someone's family over the years. It shows both its years and its use and it also shows it has probably served those in its past very well.

	Jimmy, I already have that one logged, but I'd like to know the shank diameter of the lever/breechblock pivot screws. There are three sizes known. s/n 5051 lies in the range where they should be .258" diameter, but it would increase confidence level if you could confirm. Thanks for the pictures. I did not have those filed. Showed me that 5051 is the earliest s/n that has the hammer lug. Phil
