FarrowRe/De capping Tool

I was recently going through some of my old Dads eclectic collection of reloading/gun tools. It includes  everything from turn screws, nipple wrenches/keys, oil bottles (glass, metal) for cased guns, bullet moulds, powder measures etc, etc.

To my surprise, sitting behind a collection of European brass cartridge bullet seaters was a Farrow Re/de capping tool. Now Dad did not buy repro bits and pieces to put in his collection but I think it is unlikely to be original given that I am out her in Australia and that the the tools were relatively uncommon.

Regardless, here are some pictures and it will go nicely with my recently purchased RodneyS Farrow Action Kit.

It is one of my reproductions. My understanding is that originals were iron or steel and nickel plated. I made 2 sizes of them, a up to 38-55 and a 40 to 45-90 size. According to the Farrow’s catalog he made shotgun ones also.

Any update for us yet Rodney?  BTW, will these be made of brass or will you be going to steel with this batch?
