The fearsome four in Post # 359 are, left to right, E. A. Leopold, Dr. Baker, A. O. Niedner, and Dr. F. W. Mann.  They were all rabid woodchuck hunters.  A frequent fifth member of the group was Harry Pope.  If he'd been there and had posed with his friends, that would've been a photo to make the hearts of all here go pitty-pat!

Looks like a sharps , I don’t recall ever seeing the hammer on the other side of the action. Left handed sharps? Huh

Image is in the reverse of the actual scene. many old photos are this way, and need to be looked for while assessing these. After cameras began using reflex mirrors and film the problem mostly went away, though a careless moment in the printer could still produce it by flopping a negative. I used to hang out with a guy that did his own film and he'd create a lot of 'fun' stuff in his darkroom. Like putting hair on my rather bald father's head. Didn't even look like my ol' pop with a mop of curly hair since I'd never seen him with much more than a ring around his noggin- luck was with me, I still have most of it. Roll Eyes
I like this image and thanks for posting it for us to enjoy-

This photo is a bit confusing. The photo is mirror image,  but it’s a left handed shooter.

The same reason Billy the Kid was thought to be left handed.

I would even gladly help with the ammunition. Well, perhaps thirty years ago.
