Looking for a set of drawings to complete my pistol-grip Ballard castings (8620) from Rodney.

Built my last one using the ASSRA drawings for reference. Yes the shown tang is in wrong position. Some of the dimensions must be approached with caution as they did not work perfectly with the casting set and...........did not match my 2 originals. They are worthwhile to have on the bench though and I referred to them constantly instead of dissecting one of my rifles for part measurement.

I got a set of Ballard prints and am also using these to restore / build parts for my vintage Ballard. I do like that they have both (original) and new dimensions listed... the original dims being in (parenthesis). Getting ready to mock up the dst's next so will drill the trigger pivot holes then verify spacing before committing on the trigger plates that I've milled... alot of machine work in them plates!

I was fortunate to have an extra double-set action complete to fit the receiver.

I've got copies of a full set of drawings from Ballard Rifle. When I set out to make a few hammers we tried to use the drawing to redraw it in Inventor so it could be cut out on a waterjet. There is no way to make a hammer from that drawing. Lines, arcs and points did not connect by a large margin. We just had to reverse engineer it the old fashioned way by measuring an original hammer. If the remainder of the drawings are as bad as that hammer I don't know how they got anything made.
