Browning B78 Trigger Adjustment

Hi,

I have had a Browning B78 for a number of years and like it very much. The trigger leaves a lot to be desired, which is understood to be part of the design. However, it may be improvable to some extent with moderate adjustments. I have been looking for a copy of the field manual to know which adjustments around the trigger do what. Trying a forum search here has not provided anything. Can anyone provide direction on this?  Thanks in advance.

RBP4,
Howdy wasn't sure how much you was wanting to do with your trigger. But Lee Shaver does a pretty good job on slickin the triggers up on the Browning's, I believe for around 35 bucks or there abouts. Now you just drop the trigger group out and send it to him. He has a website and I think there are instructions on the procedure to removing the trigger group. You may want to call him to see what the wait time is.
Just my two cents worth.

The old B78 triggers are a world of difference than the later 1885, etc. triggers.
I could be wrong, but I think Mr. Shaver's service is geared toward the later triggers. I know I would mess with the B78 triggers for $35!  Wink
