That's exactly what I'm planning for a Swedish rolling block in 8mm danish. Short barrel no more than 24" and probably in 44 special. Frank

here my 1874 new York state militia rolling block.  was supposed to be 50/70 but low and behold its a 45/70 and the barrel looks brand new inside.  dont know what they used to protect the bore but it did its job really well but it took me 2 weeks to get it all out, but it was worth it. going to save up some money and scope it i can still see to target shoot but huntings out of the question for my 61 year old eyes LOL..
