Finally getting around to sighting this little rifle in. Getting the right ammo is going to put me in the poor house though.

A very beautiful rifle! But just because I'm an Old Fuddy-Duddy, do you prefer the barrel "in the white"?

This was done in stainless to represent a "modern" take on a re-rebarreled Gallery rifle. Like, yes, prefer maybe not. But still makes for a pretty little rifle.

Done by a gentleman call Ron Croxon out here in Australia and styled on an engraved Stevens featured in one of Grants Single Shot Rifle Books (not sure which one of the top of my head but will dig it out next time I visit my old Dad). Ron also engrave the 2017 Melbourne Cup - a famous horse race out here for those that don't know.

OK found the reference for the engraving pattern and it is very loosely based on the Stevens featured in Plate 2, page 1 Single Shot Rifles Finale by James Grant, Wolfe Publishing, Jan 1992 edition.
