I'd give a lot to have the skills and the tools to do such work and to be 20 years younger with my eyes still good and my hands still steady.  However, I can still take my hat off and unequivocally state "Well done!"

This is 6 or 7 rounds at 330 yards with a guessed load. Haven't had time to work up or refine the load yet. 38-50 Hepburn, 55 Swiss 1 1/2. 360 gr BACO bullet.

It's definitely not perfection. I didn't like the way the case-colors turned out and at first I wanted to re-do them. But now I think I may just leave it, it is unique at least!

Very nice work!
Your color case reminds me of several of my first goes at it, good but wishing it was slightly better... if you don't already, there is one thing that helped mine pop a little better and I'll blame it on our altitude, purge your quench water with pure oxygen for about 3-5 minutes right before.  I use shop air for the rest of the time, that little bit more O2 seemed to help.

Thanks for posting the updates.

GT... Thanks for the tip! I did have much better results when I tried it in Oklahoma, so maybe you are correct about the altitude.

Who made and where was your Haas mill made. Haas was my grandmothers maiden name. Just curious because of the name.
