Thanks, Swede. The lead bullet/black powder loads could have been sub diameter anyway due to the BP bump up factor. The jacketed loads would have the standard 9.3 soft or gilding metal bullets like Norma and DWM used. Come to think of it I have a bunch of those bullets stashed away somewhere that I may have to try. It would be interesting to know what smokeless powder S&B used 40 grains of.
