Fred, do you apply a release agent first?

I sure hope so! Otherwise you just made your gun friendly  to the non gunners!

After adding the $9.95 shipping its back up to the regular price. I ordered 2 as I plan on keeping the castings with the rifle.  Not to many odd balls in my foreseeable future. I would have easier than the method I used on my last rolling block I purchased chambered in 44-90-2 7/16 Remington special. Sold as a unknown, maybe  45-70????

Nasty option!  Shocked

Burning sulfur will flow and emits large quantities of sulfur dioxide (SO2), a toxic, irritating, and suffocating gas that can cause severe lung damage and death. Molten sulfur may evolve hydrogen sulfide (H2S) - H2S is a flammable gas and may present an explosion hazard in a confined space.

Why does it seem to be so overly difficult for some individuals to use the material that is actually designed for the job? What is it that I am missing when nothing could be more easy for one to use.

Agreed J Louis - I bought mine eons ago, and aside from the few castings I wished to preserve, I still have more than enough to last another lifetime or more. The cost is insignificent, when compared to the benefit. A wonderful product that solves all the problems associated with chamber casting. There is a limit for frugality!

I agree too John.   I tried the magic invisible blue sulphur flame complete with highly toxic fumes out of curiosity.  There are much better ways.  Why does every generation have to learn the hard way?

Some people just like to reinvent the wheel. Anyone who has ever seen how easy it is to use Cerrosafe, or Rotometals version, knows if you can boil water, you can do a chamber cast.
