Spotting scope stand question

Can a sturdy spotting scope stand be had in the neighborhood of $200+? I need one that can survive the winds at the Quigley shoot.
My scope is a Vortex Razor 85mm, so kind of heavy, a stand that might vibrate or tip over would be bad. Trying to avoid buying the wrong one. Viewing height needs to work with a seated position. Is the Cabine Tree brand a good choice? Are there others?
thanks for your thoughts

As an example, put this in on eBay "Vintage Majestic Tripod Model 1600". When the legs are spread and locked with the braces, one like this will be there when the concrete blows away. I used this one as an example because it has a head on it. I see some of the others there have no head and it is difficult to adapt anything else to them. Usual disclaimer.

I bought a really heavy duty camera tripod at a swap meet locally. It weighs 2-3 times what my spotting scope weighs, and has a crank for fine elevation. Think I gave $15-$20 for it, and it's extremely sturdy in winds.
Check your local Craigslist for camera tripods.

Surveyor's tripod. They are designed to be steady in 25 mph wind or more. You might find one on ebay or similar site.
I've been using this one for years, love it.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

Depends if you are using it for benchrest and then how far apart the benches are our clubs are just short of touching one another so the need for having it bench mounted is must.

Could not find a surveyors tripod at a reasonable rate.

So I put nine pounds of lead on each leg of my tripod.

They do not wiggle or blow over now.

hello
I considered everyone's advice, and scoured e-bay also. Settled on the wind proof model Shiloh Sharps sells. Being a 2 hr. drive i saved on shipping too. This is the model Cabine Tree used to make, and has a ground stake. The adapter bracket fits my Vortex scope perfectly, a good stout tripod set up. Out the door at $189.
best kw
