14.7 grains 300MP, Winchester Large Rilfe Mag. Primers, 234 Grain Mos or Jones Spitzer breech seated Dale. My Bresien was a LH Hand 15 twist and the best shooting rifle I have ever owned. I also had to seat the bullets until they just engraved beyond the base to get it to shoot up to  it's very best.

Mine is a 15 twist (33 ELCO, Max case) but, I would suggest a 14 twist, to use heavier bullets than 240 gr.

Shovel80 has a 33/47 (I believe it's a 14 twist), that he has shot 250's with. I would start with his data, if he would like to chime in.

Dale's if you would care to try my load Terry Harper, Jerry Hartwig and myself have all had very good success with it. Terry shoots a Darr flat nose bullet about the same weight and we have all shot 250's either in practice or at a match. I believe Terry's and Jerry's are both Douglas 14 inch twists XX barrels and I will let them chime in with their own personal success's.

Douglas XX 14 twist on my CPA action, 231 gr Mos, 14.5 gr 300MP, Federal 215 or Winchester LRM primers, and bullet seated flush with the end of the baseband.

Never shot a 250 with it during a match, but did shoot two during practice. I shot plenty of 248 and 249 targets with it in matches though.

I BS a 215 gr Hoch Pope style bullet, 14.25 grs 4227, Fed 150 LP.  Stevens Pope barrel that ends with about 17.5 twist.
