	Do you not get that he's not offering it up for sale? And have you not noticed that he rarely posts, and I believe because of his age he rarely returns to a thread he started? Cut the guy some slack, unless you want to buy it, and he wants to sell it.

Buying & selling is irrelevant; what's relevant is its purported history, a part, presumably, of the history of Ned Roberts. 	All right, Vall and Redsetter, go to your respective corners. The OP has graciously informed me that the 2007-noted accessories, the hand-written notes and shop-made tools, are indeed still with the rifle. So, as far as I'm concerned, the provenance is unbroken from 2007 until now and the substantiation of Roberts-ownership is likely as good as it can be without a goodly amount of time and money being spent. So let's thank the man, again, for sharing and move on. Bill Lawrence

Simply wasn't necessary to me.
