Facebook can only sell off whatever you post there. People who fill out their entire life history, and tell the world who they are, what they're having for dinner, and where they're going every day, leave themselves vulnerable. 
Simply don't put any information on FB and there wont be anything for others to glean from your account. I don't like Zuckerberg, or anything he stands for. But I enjoy seeing the ASSRA FB page, so I look in occasionally.
Everybody who is scared about what's on the internet should Google their names, or the user names they have for various sites. You'll be shocked at what's already out there, even if you don't use FB.

When one joins Facebook, one starts to accumulate friends. As a cowboy shooter, I accumulated a lot quickly. Family and other people I know. To accumulate friends, you ask that they be your friend or someone asks you.
If every member of this forum, or for that matter, every member of ASSRA would join Facebook and then connect to everyone by becoming friends every time a post is put on ASSRA, EVERYBODY will see it. 

Since becoming a member of ASSRA I have noticed a lot of involvement in answering my novice questions about reloading. And some of the involvement is members asking peripheral questions. There are some on here that I would like to wire an USB plug in their brain and download that knowledge to my hard drive. 
Put something on the Forum that informs guys like me who are dying to gain information that is not in a search engine. As a retired banker, I am crazy about communication and a good ol' campfire and some George Dickel will grow items of discussion that will balloon out to cover many aspects of the discussion. 

Someone help me down off this thing.
