Taper Crimp Die

Could not find a .38 caliber taper crimp die so made one.
Used 7/8” x 14 TPI and a 5/8” x 18 TPI grade 5 bolts.
Die piece is removable for different calibers and contains a straight section to align the bullet.
It seems to work. Now, will it shoot better?

Did you use a taper pin reamer to cut the taper angle, or... ?
