Not sure on a fecker, I’ve never pulled one apart. Unertls are simple. Line cell up close before pushing in so screws are visible in tightening/adjustment slots. Put screws with collar in loose. Twist to get crosshairs aligned. Tighten screws.

I took the plunge and did it yesterday. It wasn't too bad but I didn't realize that underneath the holding ring there was a slot instead of a screw hole to line up which made it a lot easier. I used a piece of large doll rod and marked it to the depth before I took the cell out. Took me about five or six attempts to get everything just right. Once I pushed the cell in too far and had to use my hook to pull it out and broke a cross hair that way and then broke crosshairs once in awhile by over tightening the screws. It takes just the right touch and a little time to figure it out.  I think your .0015" wire may have been a better choice.

I had one that I keep breaking the wire when I would tighten it and after a couple times notice it had a sharp edge from the lacquer they used to lock the screw with. I Took acetone to it and it tightened up with out cutting. How heavy does the cross hair look now and what power is it?

Jlouis With the etched glass reticle, how did you attach it to the cell? I would assume epoxy? And what diameter did you supply for the lens, ID or OD? Thanks in advance for a reply.  Krag
.
Jlouis, I also have the same questions?  Thanks.

I haven't installed it yet and the plan is it turn a shelf on the inside of the cell for it to sit on and as a stop while having a slight press fit and maybe a dab of adhesive. OD has not been specified as the part has not yet been ordered.

The crosshairs look the same size as those on my ten power.
