Ol Harry was a relatively small man. Maybe 5 foot 5 inches tall?

My home town, Little Falls, NY.  I wonder where he shot?  Pine Tree Rifle Club, Johnstown, NY, maybe!

I grew up in a rural area where there were lots of places to shoot a rifle or pistol. I can recall that there were many little makeshift shooting ranges around. If you wanted to shoot off a bench, you made a collapsable wooden bench that you could put in the back of your truck, but times have changed.

This an old photo I came across while doing some online searching on an unrelated topic. I had not seen it before so here it is.
The image had no info or embedded data about it and may be copyrighted (I just don't know) but thought some might enjoy seeing it. The image is unaltered by me and is as I downloaded it.
Hopefully someone will jump in who knows about this image.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

That's a cool pic. Shows how much influence the Creedmoor match of 1874 had on the country. Gunshop already named after the match.
Wonder when the meat inspector is going to show up? Few fly eggs never hurts anything. Are those venison and elk halves hanging there?
