My 33 ELCO, is on the full length Max case. It has a .12 freebore and a 1 deg lead. I have fired a single case, at least 300 times at The Spokane match and then fired it until the primer pocket loosened, after that. I never had a stuck case with it, either at velocity's up to, at least 1500 fps. At a Modesto 5-5 group match, it averaged .54 on the only occasion I fired that match. Small group was .336. My new rifle is also on the full length Max case. Same taper as the 33 but, with a shoulder and neck. I don't use a single case any more, I use 12 cases now and shot more than 400 rounds at Spokane, this year w/o on case sticking but, one pocket loosened. I have about 600 rounds total, through the rifle now. For Dales, I scaled up a PJ design. This is about what it looks like, Dales said Brooks didn't quite make it to the drawing. For a 300 gr bullet, you should have a heavier barrel, for recoil. I had RKS make my 30 cal, 1.312 x 26" long, to fit the outside thickness of my Hoch but, you can get even thicker, from Ron. It weighs about 18 lb w/o a scope and I've started shooting it free recoil now. Frank
