Short of getting the NRA to republish this monumental work (from 79 and the early 80's) it is now beyond the reach of most new readers. However, I did find a link to an online copy which can be downloaded. Since the time I had last managed to look through a copy I had forgotten how much valuable information is therein. The last article on pages 140-141 gives some weight to the question of weighing bullets and orienting them. Here's the link: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

I refuse to pay to download PDFs and I've heard too many complaints about scribd "unsubscribe" process.

Fortunately, I have a paper copy.

Another good book is "The Art of Bullet Casting" From Handloader and Rifle Magazines 1966 - 1981.

Used copies are occasionally available on amazon at a reasonable price.

You don't need to use scribd to get a free pdf copy of Col. E.H. Harrison's Cast Bullets

Go to this link:
(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Scroll down to the " Historic Loading Manuals: " section of the page...
then to the right, click on  " NRA on cast bullets - Harrison "

After the pdf has finished downloading, save it on your particular electronic box.

As do I, as I have also several horror stories of trying to "unsubscribe".TheGimp wrote on Feb 22nd, 2019 at 8:58pm:
