Does anyone have any pictures of how Zischang marked his barrels and did he mark his rebores the same way?

I do not want to attest to the originality of the rifles, but currently Joe Salter has a couple of Zischang rifles for sale.

Here is a link to a past rock island auction for a Zischang rifle.

My website is down at the moment.  If I get it working again in the next couple of days I'll post a picture of the markings on my rifle's barrel.

A couple of interesting facts. The Zischang Sporting Goods Company still exists in Syracuse NY. Probably 20 Years ago I started trying to write an article and went to the offices. I explained what I was writing they were amazed that anybody would be interested. When I asked about old records, they told me that all that “old stuff” got thrown out when they moved. I did talk to one employee who was there when the move happened, He described throwing out all the old jigs and fixtures and what I think was rifling jig. Along with hundreds of pounds of old paper work, it all went into an old landfill behind the shop.
Also there used to be a motorcycle shop next door to the old shop. I think at one time it may have been part of the shop because above the parts counter was a full race Zischang Borchardt. I tried to buy that gun on more than one occasion but no sale from conversations I wasn’t the only one.
