I brag on the Winchesters but my long range rifle this year will more than likely be the Hepburn again, back up is a Borchardt.  The .22 will be a low wall and the Schuetzen will be a high wall in 32-40 so two out of three isn't bad.  Back ups are mostly Ballards - too many options and not enough shoots-

I've never had very many options, so I decided I'd stick with the best one available.  Wink Several times over, I've made the choice and not been unhappy. I'd sure like a Hepburn, but may never get one, nor many of the others either.
GT, I'd have said Rolls but, I didn't want to start another argument this week. Maybe...............

The Hepburn was designed by a target shooter.    Wink

If you shoot backrest position you will realized Hepburn designed it for that purpose  Huh

My HW closed on half cock.  Reversing the fly caused it to close on full cock.  However, pulling the trigger on half cock causes it to fire.  The fly appears to be from a Winder.  Are the Winder and set trigger flies different?
