Borchardt triggers

I'm about done with machining the Borchardt action except for the extractor and trigger(s).

Before I cut into the action I'd like to make sure on what I'm doing.  Have Rodney's Zischang dst kit and drawings.  Don't care for the idea the trigger/tang is only attached to the action by one pin.  The rear apparently is attached to the stock by a wood screw.  Some drawings seem to show  pins that actually pass thru bushings that locate the moving parts and a pin then passes thru the bushing and into the action sides.  Comments?

I have a drawing of the set triggers that is very nicely done be Leo J. Remiger in 2009 and it appears to support the pin/bushing hypothesis.  Does any one have more info on this subject that would be willing to share?

Have also looked at Binger's triggers which also look very interesting.  Does anyone have experience with them?  Would be great if he replied.

Still struggling with what caliber to make the gun but currently leaning towards a BRC bbl in 38/55 because it seems to shoot well, lots of info available, and brass is available.  Comments?  Apparently a relatively fast twist is desirable like 1/15.

Thanks for any input.

I'd post pictures but it's a real PIA for me and I needed to get help from my wife and they were too big at that.

I take the pictures with my iPad and that works great.  Too many pixels for the forum so then have to decimate thru another program.  If there is an easy way I would do it!
Cheers, John

Anything that I've seen that Dick Binger has done has always been first rate.   Dave.
