The American Custom Gunmaker's Guild and Iowa Valley Community College/Grinnell are sponsoring another series of Gunsmithing classes this Summer. All of the instructors are members of the Guild.
Classes are 5 days long and tuition is $450 per class. Students are responsable for their own housing and must supply their own tools and guns to work on.
The schedule is as follows,
July 23-27 Engraving with Bob Strosin
July 30-August 3 Stock Refinishing with Dennis Earl Smith
Aug 6-10 Advanced Metal Finishes with Steven Durren
Aug 13-17 Trunk Case Restoration & Re-Lining with Diavid Bennetts
Aug 20-24 Introduction to Double Shotgun Repair with Dennis Potter
Aug 20-24 Metalsmithing the Single Shot Falling Block Rifle with Glenn Fewless
All classes take place at the Grinnell campus just off I-80.
