MVA 1885 parts

I found out the Stevens-Pope barreled High Wall I bought had a broken firing pin. Gave Cheryl at MVA a call and asked about a .22RF firing pin for my Low wall, and she confirmed they had them. Price was very reasonable compared to other places at $28.50
I got the firing pin today, and was very pleased with the workmanship. Dropped it in the Low Wall and tried a .22 blank to ensure it works. Always happy with MVA, and even happier they're into 1885 parts now. Wish they'd have chosen to build a Ballard receiver though!

I just recently purchased a double set trigger assembly with the sear and lever for a high wall from MVA, I've very pleased with the workmanship and the price, fit the original Winchester perfect.  There's some polishing and finishing to do but testing it works like a dream.  Had to cut a fly slot and make a fly for the hammer too.

I am, not sure they have close couple parts, worth a call though.  Close couple triggers were a special order back in the day if I remember that comment in Campbell's book right, parts may be similar.  I recently snagged an original LW with a set, there is a bit more to them than the single set trigger.
