Need Help with Martini International Mark II

Was shooting my Mark II today and after firing a round the action would not open. The block will drop about 1/3 of the way and that's it? Block will not go down far enough to get the action out of the gun. Anyone have any suggestions? Could it have anything to do with the sear adjustment screw? Any help would be appreciated

Seems like the bock stops when it needs to activate the extractor, stuck case?   Issue with extractor/ejector?  That would be my 1st thought...

I don't believe it is a stuck case. Could be problem with extractor, but still wonder what the solution is?

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

I'd probably put a cleaning rod down the barrel and tap the case as I applied pressure to the lever. It may help the extractor move and the tapping/lever pressure together might open the action.

Got it figured out. The tumbler was broke and jamming up the whole system. The only way to remove the group at this point is to remove the buttstock and drive out the back hinge pin. This will allow the trigger group to drop straight down. Anybody know where I can find a tumbler?

Seems to me there is an outfit in the UK/England that has a website.  Maybe the NRA/UK. Google, ask about Martini INtl parts.
Now you got me to thinking about mine. If parts break.

An extractor broke and I saved both parts. Local gunsmith TIG-welded the parts together and filed off the excess weld to fit. The extractor functions fine today.

This is another option.
