BS Marlinguy!! Those of us that have to do it usually have a simple choice: don't shoot or figure out how to use two poor eyes together. I started doing it from very start, as pre teen, shotguns, revolvers, rifles, rifles mostly scoped. I did it with low-power scopes (2-4X). I did it shooting BPCR with MVA 6x scope, both with scope mounted over barrel and on Steve Earlie's offset mounts.
None of what you just posted supports the ability to keep one eye on a spirit level in the rear sight position, while looking at the front sight with the other eye. You call BS, and yet it's obvious you do not shoot long range, or can't remember how to do so!!!
I never said anything about not being able to shoot with both eyes open, yet you call BS and explain how it can be done. Of course some shooters shoot with both eyes open, and I never denied that. But to say you can somehow have one eye looking down at the bubble 10" away, while the other is looking at the sight on the end of the barrel, and the target AND still shoot accurately, is the biggest crock of BS I've ever heard!
Even if you had two god eyes, it would not allow them to look in different directions, and do an accurate job of shooting. Beyond being barely competent to drive, it seems you're barely competent to read, or comprehend what's been written too!
HO! HO! HO! Over flowing BS. One does not need especially good eyesight or reading comprehension to quickly recognize your Grade A, Pure BS, and inability to tolerate that some folks successfully do what is needed. It must be such a good feeling to claim you are always right.
