deHaas-Miller question

How difficult is it to take the block out of my d-M action (It is the newer action with updated trigger).  I assume that the 2 pins in the front of the action need to be removed. 
 
Even more important, how hard is it to re-assemble?

  It is extremely simple. Action must be cocked, open action push out lower pin from either side and remove lever and block from bottom.
  The striker must be cocked to replace the assembly. A reprint of the manual is available from the archives.

The block is very easy to remove and reinstall.  However, do not remove the block until you learn how to manually re-cock the action when it is out of the receiver.  Because; if you remove the block and inadvertently cause the firing pin to fall, you will not be able to reassemble unless you know how to manually re-cock.  It's not difficult to re-cock - it's just not intuitive.

The striker-firing pin is a whole other topic, with the book in front of me, I broke the firing pin trying to remove the striker. Others might agree, it's the most stupid, crazy firing pin arrangement 
I've seen, but it works.  Ledball
