	I found this at the local state surplus store. No markings except on the motor. Looks like a tool post grinder to me, but I have only seen them in photos. It weighs in at about 22 lbs. A bit massive for my 7x12 mini-lathe. Not sure what it would be worth. Name brand ones run fairly expensive. Jack

	Judging by the size and the block that goes in the compound slot it is for a larger lathe. Much larger........ JMH

	If the spindle is good then the other use is to mount it on a shaper. Cycle in and out slowly and use a rotary table. The are supposed to be very good. ( stiff ). I missed one at auction many years ago. Walked into the auction just as the hammer was falling.
