I truly believe (the new lots offered of) Enforcer & 4100 are the same. Lot #s bear this out. They are my go to powders; however, the quest to improve is insatiable - I feel the need to try for the next level of performance.
Fact is ............. I need more range time. Wink

Just checked the forum after being long AWOL and this thread is very interesting for me. I'm waiting for delivery of a Ballard 25-20SS with 10 twist rifling, and I have an old but very tight Stevens 44, same caliber. The 44 works great with Swiss 3f and an 85 g lead bullet. Now, when I get the Ballard there'll be some experimentation hap'nin. Heavier bullets, of course and perhaps some smokeless. This is all new territory since these are my first quarter bores. This powder thread's most welcome and I'd appreciate any suggestions specifically for the 25-20s. The Stevens is definitely a black powder plinker, but what about the much stronger Ballard?
