Well you fellas shoot whatever floats your stick, I'll not be shootin' anything petroleum based in any of my rifles. I have seen carbon build up in several muzzleloaders, the worst culprit being Marvel's Mystery Oil. Maybe it's not a factor in BPC because everything is contained in a cartridge, in muzzleloaders the powder and lube are both in direct contact with the breech chamber, I dont know.
