Sharps Borchardt Repro Identity

I tried a search, but couldn't find what I was looking for. Some time ago there was a thread or a responce in a thread about Borchardt reproductions. As I remember it, there was mention of a repro that had been made that was much longer in the front section, from the front of the breechblock mortise to the face of the action. Can anyone give me a name or more information on this.

Thanks-
Eron

They were made by Artistic Arms sometime in the 1970's.  somewhere I have the brochure from them.  Also have one of the actions.

I have one of the actions as well, just couldn't remember who made it. Thanks. A Google search turned up some good info once I had the name.

The only difference between the original Sharps Borchardt and the Artistic Arms replica is that the Artistic Arms version is slightly longer in overall length so as to allow a greater length of the receiver ring. If I recollect correctly the length difference is about 0.375".
