I can't say enough about this rifle. A pleasure to shoot and very accurate.

That is a beautiful rifle. Curt does amazing work.

Considering the size of the barrel and the little .22 diameter bore, that must be a heavy rifle!  The buttstock is perfect ... plain and straight through the pistol grip with figure  further back.

... very, very nice!

Gorgeous Rolling Block, and especially like the pistol grip stock! Have a couple Rolling Block projects waiting here, and hope I can make one of them a pistol grip!
My #1 Rolling Block in .22LR has a center hung sliding extractor that I dearly love!

Could be about the nicest roller I've seen. Curt does great work.
Vall - is the extractor in your #1 a Remington thing or something someone else came up with? Would be nice to see a pic or two of its workings.

Glenn - 2x CPA 44 1/2 w/22LR (Shilen ratchet-rifled & Bartlein 5R rifled), 38-40RH & 38-55WCF (Bartlein 5R rifled) & 40-65WCF (GrnMtn 'X') barrels

Now that is just too pretty to shoot.......... I would be afraid to take it to the range. Ya know kinda like a new car. I wonder what Curt's backlog is now. I have a roller action that needs some attention. Does he answer  the phone?

The #1 .22LR Rolling Block I have is custom  built, and the extractor is custom also. It's the nicest .22RF extractor system I've ever seen designed, and better than many factory extractors for .22RF single shot rifles. It is dovetail cut into the bottom of the barrel at the 6 o'clock position, and operates off the breechblock when opened or closed. Works perfectly, and never loses contact with the rim when extracting, or chambering.
I happened to take a picture the other day for a friend who wants to build a #1 Roller in .22LR. Not a great picture, but you can see whoever built this made the extractor "T" shaped, so it's well supported by the cut in the barrel. There's a small teat that hangs down off the bottom front, and engages a cut in the breechblock, so it is what operates the extractor.
