Need help identifying Windgauge Front Sight

I've had this front sight for a few years but have not been able to identify its maker.  I don't know if it's an original factory sight or a contemporary custom sight.  Any help is appreciated ...

Joe, I have a sight nearly identical to one pictured. The only difference I can see is the relief on the face of the Knobs. It is a spherical Concave as in later Winchester sights. The Knob on the opposite side is a Locking Knob on mine. You loosen it and adjust from the other side and then you tighten the Locking side up. It came on a Schoyen 33-40 I have. An early serial #
action. I thought and still think it was a good system as it ensures that windage adjustments stay put. Also different is the straight Knurl. HTH regards FITZ. Smiley
