Here's one I had built, traded off, traded back, and am learning to shoot.  Jim McLemore bbl, fitted by Bob Scherer, and stocked by me.

Yes. It's a piece of maple I had left over from anether project, I think.   It was too nice to not use, and not large enough for any of the muzzle loader projects.. the forend is original, just enlarged to hold the larger barrel.  The barrel is one of Jim McLemore's.   He made a few rim fire barrels. I have another one on a plain low wall, and had another one fitted to a 52 Winchester, and put it in a Remington 700 short action fiberglass stock.  That one shot like a house afire.  I'm still playing with this one, but it looks like Federal match is the preferred brand.  Still needs trigger work.  I'll  get to that this winter.
