New bullet Mold

I just got this mold on Ebay. It's unmarked, with the exception of .321 but, actually casts .320.

I'm wondering if anyone can identify the marker. It's a very well made, cherry cut, brass mold. The round marks that you see on the outside, are marks from screw tips (probably set screws) and they where used to hold it, while it was cut.

I'm posting 3 pictures, as well as the dimension, as cast in 22/1 alloy.

Nice pictures Frank. The nose looks like it's formed much better than how it looked in the ad. Looks interesting, thanks for showing it.

Thank you, Jeff.

Did Bill Smith make very many molds and is he still with us?

I'd love to talk to him, if it's possible.

I don't know how many he made. I have two, a .38 and a .32. Everybody in the WNYSS has a couple.
Last I knew he was still here. I haven't seen him in over 10 years but he calls Dale Reynolds every year. He must be pushing 90 if he's not pulling it. Grin Contact Dale.

I contacted Dale Reynolds and found out that Bill Smith passed away last year.

He was a retired machinist and a very, very good mold maker. I will add this mold to my bullet design sticky and if there is anyone else out there, that has any other Bill Smith made molds, please contact me, I would like to include other molds that he made to the sticky.

Thank you, Jeff for identifing the mold and having me contact Dale.
